Anna J. Simmons

Anna J. Simmons, 80, of Greenbush, IL passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019, 2:30 a.m. at the Heartland Health Care Center Macomb, IL.  She was born Friday, January 13, 1939 in Maquon. She is the daughter of Jim and Dorothy May (Myers) Wallick.  She married Dwight G. Simmons, he preceded her in death on August 26, 2015.

Anna is survived by one son, William (Nancy) Simmons of Greenbush IL;  Four grandchildren, Jeremiah (Amy) Simmons of rural Macomb, Jacob (Brenna) Simmons of Greenbush IL, Rebecca (Nick) Hunter of Greenbush IL, and Emily (AJ) Scott of Fairview IL; Thirteen great grandchildren, Meg, Luke, Beth, Kate, Haylee, Anya, Jonny, Grace, Stella, Rhett, Vada and Lewis, Atlas and one on the way! Brothers William Wallick (GA), Chuck Wallick (Yates City), and Dale Wallick (TN). Sister Jean Anderson (TN). One Sister-in-law Lois Schmalshof Greenbush IL.

She absolutely loved mowing, taking care of her orchard, and being in her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s lives. She loved to crochet and watch the birds.
