Barbara J (Akins) Watkins

Barbara J. Watkins, 60, of Ursa, IL passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018, 10:35 a.m. at her home.  She was born Thursday, October 31, 1957, the daughter of Arthur L. and Marjorie (Hoover) Akins.  She married Danny Watkins in August of 1974.

She is survived by her husband Danny of Ursa, IL; three sons Christopher E. Watkins of WA, Michael R. Watkins of Quincy, IL, and Brian K. Watkins of Shelbyville, MO; 4 grandchildren: Zachary, Leigha, Miya, and Aden; two sisters, and two brothers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister.

Barbara and her husband enjoyed fishing.  She especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren.  She and her husband formerly of Monmouth, IL lived in Ursa, IL for over 30 years.

Funeral service will be Friday, October 19, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville, IL. Visitation will be Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville, IL. Burial will be in the Monmouth Cemetery, Monmouth, IL.  Memorials may be made to the Barbara Watkins Memorial Fund.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
