Bernard K. Fayhee 90 of Prairie City passed away May 30th, 2021, at 12:27 a.m. in McDonough District Hospital. He was Born September 1st, 1930, the son of Patsy and Dale (Taylor) Fayhee. He then married Bonnie Ellsworth on December 31st, 1951.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie of Prairie City, Dennis (Lori) K. Ellsworth of Brighton CO., Philip E. (Marcia) Fayhee of Bloomington Il, Gregory A. (Linda) Fayhee of Prairie city, Jon E. (Pam) Fayhee of Macomb Il, 9 Grandchildren, and several Great-grandchildren Raymond Fayhee of Bushnell, Twila Foster of Morton, Sandy Butler of Sugar Grove.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, one son Tommy and one brother Patrick.
Bernard Graduated from Lewiston High School in 1948. After High school he then chose to serve in the U.S. Army. After returning home from serving in the U.S. Army he then began to work at, Fayhee Implement, and at John Fayhee and sons and then finally working at Fayhee Realty.
Graveside Service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday June 3rd 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown IL, Visitation will be held Thursday June 3rd, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home in Avon. Memorials may be made to the Bushnell Rescue Squad. Online condolences can be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com. Wise Family Funeral Home of Avon is in charge of arrangements.
