Betty Kepple passed away at Roseville Rehabilitation & Health Center at Roseville, Il on July 24, 2020. She was born on October 4, 1928 to Harry and Nina Lewis. She married Frederick "Bill" Kepple on May 26, 1948. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2013. She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (Dale) Nobel of Toulon, IL and Debra Young of Abingdon, IL; one son, Roger "Butch" (Jean) Kepple of Avon; seven grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and seven great stepgrandchildren and one step great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and three brothers.
Betty worked at Ben Franklin in Abingdon, IL for many years. Many customers could find her in the material section with her creations on display. She was also a farmer's wife. Betty kept the household going and supported her family by making their clothes and supplying food from her gardens.
Betty was a talented seamstress and made several outfits for her children, granddaughters, their dolls and barbies.
Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, baking and traveling with Bill.
She will be greatly missed by those she has left behind but embraced by those she is going to meet in heaven.
There will be no visitation and graveside services will be limited to her children only.
