Beverly (Miller) Jones

Beverly Jones, 79, of Monmouth, IL passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019, 11:20 a.m. at her home.  She was born Monday, September 16, 1940 in Augusta, IL the daughter of Frank and Ruth (White) Miller.  She married San Juan Rodriguez on October 1, 1959, they were married for 18 years and she later married Clifford Jones on April 10, 1983, he preceded her in death on December 6, 2008.

Beverly is survived by her children, Cynthia Rodriquez of Monmouth, Antonia Allen of Monmouth, Ruth Guajardo of Burlington, IA and Michael Jones of Monmouth; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; one brother Richard Miller of LaHarpe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter (Lidia), 2 granddaughters Kaytlyn Jones and Mercedes Guajardo, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

Beverly loved the Swan Creek and Youngstown School Reunion.  She enjoyed her membership at Youngs Lake where she camped.  She worked at Admirals/Maytag in Galesburg, Wells Pet Food and Warren Achievement in Monmouth.  She was a member of Swan Creek United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed going on walks and gardening.

Funeral service will be Thursday, October 3, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at the Swan Creek United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, October 2, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville, IL.  Burial will be in the Point Pleasant Cemetery Roseville, IL.  Memorials may be made to the Swan Creek United Methodist Church and/or the Alzheimer’s Association.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville is in charge of the arrangements.
