Carline Leslie Anderson, 53, of Galesburg, IL went to be with the Lord at 7:15 A.M. Sunday, May 20, 2012 at OSF Saint Mary's Medical Center, Galesburg, IL. Carline was born June 18, 1958 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. Carline was the daughter of Royston Charles and Rosemary Nicholas. She was raised in Cheltenham until her parents divorced. Carline came to the United States at age eleven, July 20, 1969, eventually settling in Silvis, IL. She attended United Township High School.
Carline Anderson was blessed with five children; Genevieve Michelle, Christine Rosemary, Arthur William the III, Gracey Helen, and Maggie Rachel. In 1994 Carline met Matthew Anderson and on August 8, 2008 they were married. Carline was a devoted wife and mother. Her spark in life was loving Jesus, her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also took delight in helping her family and others. She was known to enjoy HGTV, bargain shopping, and baking incredible pies.
Survivors include her husband, Matthew Anderson; children, Genevieve & Bart Evans of Harrisburg, Il., Christine & Justin Kotaska of Moline, Il., William Norris III of Silvis, Il., Gracey Norris , and Maggie Norris of Galesburg, Il.; grandchildren, Brianna Creek Alexis, Il., Kaylee Evans, Sabrina Evans, Cloe Evans, Bart Evans, Meagan Evans of Harrisburg, Il., and Addison Kotaska of Moline Il.; mother Rosemary Margaret Allen Homestead, Fl., step-father Henry Springer of England; sisters, Lavinia Cherie Anspach of Miami, Fl., Chiquita Beatrice Blackwell, and Selina Margeret Nicholas of Stroud, England; brothers, Paul Bayliss of Tewsbury, England, Anthony Michael Lee Brackett Homestead, Fl., Joseph David Lee Brackett of Georgia, stepbrother Glen Springer of England. She was preceded in death by her father Royston Nicholas and her stepfather Joe Lee Brackett
Cremation has been accorded. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth with Pastor Darrell Garrett of the Harvest Church in East Galesburg officiating. A private family committal services in Cedar Creek Cemetery will take place at a later date. Friends may call Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth until 5:00 P.M. and again from 12:00-2:00 P.M on Sunday. A memorial fund has been established to be designated later.
