Chad D. Black

Chad D. Black 46 of Abingdon died August 12, 2020 at 8:20 p.m. He was born October 3, 1973 in Macomb IL.

He is survived by his son Hunter Black, His mother Linda Stowe and his Father Randy Black (Marilyn Shawgo).  His fiancé Julie Boys and stepson Dana Boys.  His dog Marliegh Jo.  Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents, grandparents and Aunt Mary Lou.

Chad worked at Cottage Hospital several years in admitting.  He recently was working at Farmland the last 14 years where he presently was maintence supervisor.  He also served on the plant’s hazmat response team.  He loved his motorcycle.  Chad lived life to the fullest.

Graveside Service will be held Tuesday August 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Avon Cemetery Avon Il. Visitation will be held Monday evening at the Wise Family Funeral Home in Avon Il from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Avon Fire Department first responders.  Online condolences may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.
