Chester L. Howard

Chester "Chet" Howard, 73, of Avon, IL passed away Friday March 18, 2016, 2:45 a.m. at his home. He was born January 16, 1943 in Avon, IL the son of John William and Alice (Lockwood) Howard. He married Pamela Ann Mitchell in Roseville, IL on December 4, 1962.
Those left to treasure his memory are his children, Nancy (Danny) Deweese of Terre Haute, IN, Jay Howard of Sullivan, IN, Joyce (Roger) Runquist of Plymouth, IL; granddaughters Jessika and Taylor Runquist; nieces and nephews Coy, Galen, Abigail and Carrina Kitch of Avon, IL; James Martin of Bushnell, IL; brother Robert Howard of Kansas; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife (Pamela) and sisters.
Chet was raised and educated in Avon, IL. He worked for Amex Coal Company and his hobbies included fishing and woodworking.
