Dennis G. Arnold, 72, of Raritan, IL passed way Thursday August 17, 2017 at the Heartland Health Care Center Galesburg, IL. He was born Monday August 28, 1944 in Macomb, IL the son of Vincent D. and Joyce (Duncan) Arnold.
Those left to cherish his memory are three sisters Lorraine Johnson of Raritan, IL, Roberta Hanger of Raritan, IL and Loma Schafer of IN; one brother Lewis Arnold of Raritan, IL; 17 nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews too many to count.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 infant brother (Daniel), 1 sister (Jeannette Boyd).
He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. His interests were Harley Davidson motorcycles, toy tractors, guns, and his train room. He enjoyed to camp and fish where his nickname “Fisher” came from.
Funeral Mass will be Monday August 21, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Raritan, IL. Visitation will be Sunday August 20, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville, IL with Rosary at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Raritan Cemetery Raritan, IL.
