Dixie D. Barron, 69, of Monmouth, IL passed away Thursday June 29, 2017, 2:03 am at the Heartland Healthcare Center, Galesburg, IL. She was born Thursday, January 22, 1948 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Martin and Shirley (Gillette) Barron.
Those left to cherish her memory are one son Carl Ray Barron of Monmouth, IL; one daughter Nicol Brown of Monmouth, IL; grandchildren Kellie Barron, and LeAnn Barron; great grandchildren Brody Shultz, Zoey Shultz, and Alayha Johnson; several nieces and nephews; siblings Roger Lee Barron, James Martin Barron, Phyllis Martin, Walter Brown and Brenda Stambaugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandson and nieces and uncles.
She liked to do plastic canvas, play bingo and raising children. She enjoyed reminiscing with friends. She loved to be able to make people smile and laugh.
