Don Thomas Botkin

Don Thomas Botkin, of Morton, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the age of 67.

He is survived by his brother John (Laurie); Loving Uncle of Douglas (Michelle), Christopher (Kristy), Jessie La Mantia (Dominic) and Nathan (Julie); and proud great-uncle to Caroline Botkin, Lillian Botkin, Olivia Botkin, Henry Botkin, Ellen Botkin, Connor Botkin and Anna Botkin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Wayne Botkin and Genevieve Florene Botkin; great-niece Faith Botkin.

Don enjoyed spending his time playing board (war) games and was an avid Chicago sports fan. He retired from State Farm in 2013.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Avon Methodist Church, 200 E Washington St, Avon, IL 61415 at 10 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment to follow in Avon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Chron’s & Colitis Foundation and American Cancer Society.
