Edna P. (Fisher) Lefler

Edna P. Lefler 90, of Kirkwood, passed away on December 23, 2021, in her home. She was born on March 21, 1931, the daughter of James and Francis (Ford) Fisher in Gladstone. She married Adrian Lefler on June 19, 1949, in Kirkwood IL, he preceded her in death on June 2, 2010.

She is survived by her children; Marlene Pendry of Greenville SC, Cheryl (Tim) Hicks Johnson of Alpha IL, Elaine (David) Lefler Keever of Oneida IL, Roger Wendell (Brenda) Lefler of Oneida IL, Bruce Alan (Durinda Mecum) Lefler of Altona IL; 19 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren; brothers Charles Fisher of FT. Myers FL, and Danny Joe Fisher of Georgia; sisters Eileen Talbott of Monmouth IL, Esther Peel of Monmouth IL, Ethel Paulsgrove of Monmouth IL, Elwanda Schilb of Bloomington

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Adrian, 1 daughter Cnythia Jo Lefler, 1 son Davey Lefler, 1 grandson Jeremy, Brothers Don Fisher, James Fisher three sisters: Evelyn Ludington, Eloise Fisher, Ellen Almaguer.

Edna was a member of the Methodist Church of Kirkwood. She loved to play her bingo. She also loved to dance and dance with her husband. Edna also loved kids whether they were hers or not. Edna had worked for Dr. Carson.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday January 4, 2022, at the Kirkwood Methodist Church at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be held in Center Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital.
