Elaine R. "Ginger" Adams, 92, of Topeka, Kansas, formerly of Galesburg and Peoria, died Thursday. June 6, 2014 at Plaza West Regional Health Center, Topeka. She was born July 22, 1921 at Knoxville, Illinois, the daughter of John and Rosetta (McCleary) Roll. She lived in Peoria for 12 years until moving to Las Vegas in 1953, where she worked as a cocktail waitress in major hotels on the strip until retiring and moving to Topeka. She was of Christian faith. Her family includes two nephews, Ronald L (Mary Lynn) Roll of Kirkwood and Richard (Ruth) Roll of Monmouth along with great nieces and great nephews.. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. At her request cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
