Ellen May Allaman

Ellen May Allaman, 92, of Roseville, IL passed away Tuesday June 21, 2016, 5:45 am at Wesley Village, Macomb, IL. She was born Wednesday October, 3. 1923 in Tennessee, IL, the daughter of William S. and Evelyn Mildred (Huff) Allison. She married Harrison Blaine Allaman Jr. on February 21, 1943 in Macomb, IL. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1993 in Peoria, IL.

Those left to cherish her memory are Son Gail (Jane) Allaman of Keystone, CO. and Daughter-in-law Jule Allaman of Roseville, IL; 5 grandchildren Jacquie (Don) Worthington, Doug (Brandy) Allaman, Lori (Chris) Stortzum, Tracy (Dan) Atlas, Erin (Cameron Millard) Allaman; 9 great grandchildren; three brothers Harold Allison of Decatur, IL, Eldon Allison of Decatur, IL, and Reon Allison of Danville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son (Roger Allaman), one brother.

She attended Gem City Business College in Quincy, IL. She was a member of the Roseville Christian Church. She was a legal secretary for 18 years. She was also a member of the Home Bureau, the Woman's Club, and the Mutual Benefit Club.

Graveside service will be Saturday June 25, 2016, 10:30 a.m., at the Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery Roseville, IL. Visitation will be Friday evening June 24, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Wise Family - Hoover Hall Funeral Home Monmouth, IL.
