Erma J. Siens, 77, of Oquawka, IL, died at 3:10 a.m., Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Heartland Health Care Center, Galesburg.
She was born February 26, 1935 in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Orville and Madelyn (Palmer) Pierson. She was raised and educated in Oquawka and Henderson County.
Erma married Roger Siens in Henderson County in 1953.
She had worked at the Monmouth Pottery and Glastex Boat Factory. She enjoyed reading and cooking.
Her family includes three daughters, Jenny (Steve) Larimer of Kirkwood, Christine Mescher of Raritan and Ora May Siens of Oquawka, one son, Clinton Dale Siens of Oquawka along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Michael Siens, one daughter, Martha McDonald, one granddaughter, Emily Purchase, one sister and three brothers.
