James R. Smith

James R. Smith, 69, of Bushnell, IL passed away Monday, June 17, 2019, at McDonough District Hospital, Macomb, IL.  He was born Monday October 24, 1949, the son of Marshall Glade and Mary (Mumaw) Smith. He married Joyce M. Parrick on July 6, 1968, she preceded him on September 9, 2017.

James is survived by his children, Christina Sanchez of North Port, FL, James Smith of Marietta, and Bobbie Gibson of Bushnell; Trenice, Wednesday, Eddie Gibson; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother.

Graveside service will be Saturday, June 22, 2019, 3:00 p.m. at the Avon Cemetery, Avon, IL.  There will be no visitation.  Memorials may be made to the James R.
