Jean E. (Vogele) Adkisson

Jean E. Adkisson, 90 of Roseville, IL passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018, 6:20 p.m. at the Roseville Rehab and Healthcare Center Roseville, IL.  She was born Tuesday, March 20, 1928 in Downers Grove, IL the daughter of Leon and Grace (Marshall) Vogele.  She married Max Adkisson on April 1, 1950, he preceded her in death on October 29, 1965.

She is survived by her children Susan (Jan) VanArsdale and Tom Adkisson; stepson John (Ellen) Adkisson; grandchildren Jonna, Brian, Max, and Sam; 9 great grandchildren; and one sister Virginia Jacklin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Jean taught at Steele and Cook Schools in Galesburg, IL.  She enjoyed flea markets.  After she retired, she owned and operated her own antique store.  She was a member of the Roseville Christian Church.
