Joan K. (Wall) Fitzgibbon

Joan K. Fitzgibbon, 79, of Avon, IL passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020, at St. Francis Medical Center Peoria, IL.  She was born Tuesday, September 3, 1940 in Galesburg, IL the daughter of Eugene B. and Mary Reginia (Repp) Wall.

She is survived by her mother Reginia Wall of Avon; one son, Tom (Lindy) Fitzgibbon, and one daughter, Kate (David) Schmalshof; three granddaughters, Mackenzie, Riley, and Melanie; one brother, Pat Wall.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Joan graduated from Avon High School.  She has lived her entire life in the Avon area.  Joan owned and operated her own beautician shop in Avon for almost 50 years.  Jo also provided beautician work for the Avon Nursing Home and, also at the funeral home.
