John L. Rhoads

John L. Rhoads, 59, of Avon, IL passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018, 7:30 a.m. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center Peoria, IL.  He was born Sunday, June 7, 1959, in Avon, IL the son of Ralph and Joan (Stehl) Rhoads. He married Lou Anne Ingles.

He is survived by his wife Lou Ann of Avon, IL; Children John Rhoads of St. Paul, MN, and Chelsea Rhoads of Avon, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was born in Avon, IL and raised around Bushnell, IL.  He has been a carpenter his entire life and owned and operated Rhoads Construction.  He loved to camp.

Cremation rites have been accorded burial will be at a later date.  Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Avcom Park and can be mailed to Wise Family Funeral Home P.O.
