Josiah Timothy Boyd, 32, of New Boston, IL (formerly of Raritan, Il) passed away Wednesday January 3, 2018 in a fatal car crash. He was born Monday May 6, 1985 in Millington, TN the son of Kyle and Toni (Boyd) Hendrickson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his special friend Angela Koch; daughters Kyla Fourdyce and Breanne Ellis that he loved dearly; also surviving are his parents Kyle and Toni Hendrickson of Raritan, IL; two sisters Holly Robinson of Jackson, Miss. and Kylee Hendrickson of Stronghurst, IL; one nephew Maverick “Peanut Butter Cups” Bigger, and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dick and Jeanie Boyd and Joyce Hendrickson.
He attended Southern High School in Stronghurst, IL. He was employed at Lost Boys Tattoo and Piercing Studios in Burlington, IA. He was an exceptional artist and tattooed for all his adult life. He spent time in Colorado, Kentucky, California, and the Quad Cities working in various shops. You will find many people in the area sporting his artwork. He also had an extreme love of music, playing in several bands over the years. He spent time in the last couple of years learning construction and roofing from his friend and former employer Jeff Jarvis. He attended Raritan Baptist Church and the Stronghurst Christian Church. He had a joyful, loving, and goofy heart and will be deeply missed.
Memorial services will be Saturday January 6, 2018, 5:30 p.m. at the Raritan Baptist Church Raritan, IL. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m. January 6, 2018 at the Raritan Baptist Church.
