Julie A Sorensen-Jahn

Julie A. Sorensen-Jahn, 60, of Roseville, IL, passed away at 6:34 a.m., Monday, January 2, 2023 in the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice House, Peoria, IL. She was born May 12, 1962 in San Diego, CA, the daughter of Jan and Mary Lee (Jahn) Sorensen. She was raised and educated in Macomb, IL, graduating from Macomb High School in 1980.

Surviving Julie is her mother, Mary Lee Jahn-Lamb of Roseville; children, Michelle Jahn, Ashley Reynolds and Michael Jahn-Reynolds; brothers, Jan Sorensen-Jahn and William Lee Sorensen-Jahn. Nieces and great-nieces also survive.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Julie was a member of the Roseville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed horses and spending time with her family.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Roseville Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, 8630 Illinois Rte 91, Peoria, IL 61615. Wise Family Funeral Home, Roseville, is handling the arrangements.
