Kathlene Dahl

September 23, 1941 — March 30, 2017

Kathlene Dahl, beloved mother and grandmother, died from adrenal cancer and met Jesus on March 30th,2017. She was a Proverbs 31 woman, clothed in dignity and strength and her children called her blessed. Kathy spent every opportunity to love her children and grandchildren. She began her journey on September 23, 1941 in Rock Island, Illinois, but she resided most of her life in Alexis, Illinois. She married Dick Dahl in 1962 and they had three children: Richard, Brent & Amy. Dick died in 1992 and Kathy moved to Minnesota in 1997 to remain close to family. She loved her grandchildren: Georgi, Reagan, Olaf and Jari. She loved sunsets, a walk in the woods, strawberries, ice cream, Old English Sheep dogs, and especially Jesus. She was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Helen Norris. She is survived by her much loved siblings: Char Esters, Bonnie Brokaw, and Arthur Norris. She is held in the highest esteem by her children, grandchildren, and others who will be forever grateful for her love: Richard Dahl, Brent Dahl, Amy Aus, son in law, David Aus, and grandchildren Georgi, Reagan, Olaf and Jari Aus.

Memorial services for Kathlene will be held at the Alexis United Presbyterian Church, Alexis, IL, Wednesday April 5, 2017, 11:00 a.m. The visitation will take place on Tuesday evening, April 4, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m at the Wise Family Hoover Hall Funeral Home Alexis, IL. Burial will be in the Alexis Cemetery Alexis, IL. Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamil-hooverhall.com. Wise Family-Hoover Hall Funeral Home Alexis is in charge of the arrangements.
