Laura D Holman

Laura Holman, 60, of Cayuga, Indiana, passed away at 11:15 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2025, at the Union Hospital, Clinton, Indiana. She was born February 9, 1965, in Avon, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and Christine (Downard) Oyler. She was raised and educated in Avon, graduating in 1983.

She married Jeffrey Holman on July 3, 2003, and he survives.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jeff; parents, Clarence and Chris; step-children Ryan Holman and Marci Holman; step-grandson Ethan Holman; brothers, Troy (Chrissy) Fitch and Michael Oyler. Nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Oyler. 

Laura worked as a security guard and in the kitchen at Applebees and Club 41 for several years.

She loved to cook and playing computer games. In her earlier years she was a member of the St. Augustine Christian Church.

A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2025, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Babbitt Cemetery, St. Augustine, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family and left in the care of the funeral home.
