Loren Jack Zeilstra, 77, of Oquawka, IL, died Wednesday, October 9, at Apache Junction, Arizona.
He was born May 5, 1936 at Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of John and Jennie (Zylstra) Zeilstra. He was raised and educated in Michigan.
He married Donna Miler in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and she preceded him in death on April 17, 1996.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He was a heavy machine mechanic.
He was a Mason.
Those left to cherish his memory are two sons, James (Lyn) Zeilstra of Oquawka and David (Jill) Zeilstra of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and one daughter, Annette Navratil of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son and one daughter.
Cremation has been accorded. No services are planned at this time.
