Lori Jill Brown

Lori Jill Brown, 52, of Macomb, IL formerly of Monmouth, IL passed away Sunday December 6, 2015 at Barnes Jewish Hospital St. Louis, MO. She was born Wednesday March 27, 1963 in Aledo, IL, the daughter of John Wendell and Mariella (Rohr) Freed. She first married Charles E. Burr. Lori Married Steven Brown on August 13, 1994 in Macomb, IL, he survives.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Steven Brown of Macomb, IL; daughter Mackenzie Brown of Macomb, Il; son Todd Burr of Kansas City, MO; Granddaughter Lilly Burr of Kansas City, MO; Mother Mariella Freed of LaHarp, IL; two brothers James (Marie) Freed of Kansas City, MO and John (Susie) Freed of North Mankato, MN; one sister Mary Ann Jones of Pittsfield, IL, along with Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.

She was raised and educated in Monmouth, Il. She graduated Monmouth High School in 1981 and the attended Carl Sandburg College, Galesburg, Il. She owned and operated Partners in Grime Cleaning Service in Macomb, IL. She enjoyed attending her daughter's sporting events, reading and gardening.

Funeral services will be Saturday December 12, 2015 1:00 at the Wise Family Hoover Hall Funeral Home, burial to follow. Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 pm at the Wise Family-Hoover Hall Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be left for her daughter Mackenzie's education.
