Lorna L. Adkisson 90, of Roseville, Il passed away September 10, 2021, at 5:24 p.m. at Seminary Manor in Galesburg, Il.  She was born September 2, 1931, the daughter of Herman and Lou (Buffington) Kington.  She married James M. Adkisson December 29, 1951, in Roseville, Il.  He preceded her in death June 13, 2021.

Lorna is survived by her sons David B. "Drake" (Heidi) Adkisson of Seattle Washington and J. Todd (Lora) Adkisson of Roseville, Il.  Granddaughter Jessica Adkisson of Lockport, Il and Grandson Mathew Adkisson of Macomb, Il.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Lorna was raised in the Greenbush, Avon and Roseville area, graduating from Roseville High School.  She helped her husband Farm.  She also enjoyed to Garden.  She was a great Community Supporter.  She was a member of the Swan Creek Methodist Church.  Member of the Roseville American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution.  Lorna was a devoted wife, Mother and Grandmother and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday September 18, 2021, at 11;00 a.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home in Roseville, Il.  Visitation will be held Friday Evening from 5:00 p.m.  to 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roseville Township Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Swan Creek united Methodist Church and or Roseville American Legion Auxiliary.  Online condolences may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com . Wise family Funeral Home in Roseville is in charge of arrangements.
