Margaret I. Crandall, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt, 72, of Monmouth, IL passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015, 2:58 am at OSF St. Mary's Medical Center in Galesburg, IL surrounded by her family. She was born on Wednesday, July 28, 1943 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Walter and Mildred (Clendenen) Eaton. She married Paul Crandall Jr. on August 27, 1961 at Berwick Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Paul of Monmouth, IL; her children Kevin (Jalaine) Crandall of Florissant, MO, Brian (Wendy) Crandall of Avon, IN and DeNeene (Kevin) Killey of Berwick, IL; her grandchildren Alyssa (Issac) Bjerk, Tyler Crandall, Ryan Crandall, Nicholas Crandall, Emily Margaret Crandall, Lauren Crandall, Kolton Killey, Sydney Killey and Aubrey Killey; and great grandmother to Brennan Bjerk; her siblings Jan (Don) McIntyre of Monmouth, IL and Kenneth (Cheryl) Eaton of Pueblo, CO and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Paul Sr. and M. Maxine Crandall, 2 brothers (Vance and Merrill), 5 sisters (Delores Kepple, Ardis England, Shirley Carson, Evelyn Tucker and Marion Miyler) and a great grandson (Brennan).

Margaret was born in Monmouth, IL. She was educated at Berwick Grade School and graduated from Roseville High School in Roseville, IL. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, sewing, playing piano, collecting antiques, decorating, traveling, and cooking for her family. She loved her home and lived on the family farm outside of Roseville until moving to Monmouth in 2003. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Monmouth, IL.

Funeral service will be Friday, October 9, 2015 10:00 am, at the First Christian Church Monmouth, IL. Burial will be in the Roseville Township Cemetery, Roseville, IL. Family will receive friends Thursday evening, October 8, 2015 5:00-8:00 pm, at the Wise Family ~ Hoover Hall Funeral Home Monmouth, IL.
