Markus C. Hunter

Markus C. Hunter, 26, of Roseville, IL passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at his home.  He was born Friday, August 14, 1992 the son of Corey and Mary (Smith) Hunter.  He married his high school sweetheart Brixton Washburn on April 8, 2017 at the Crossing in Macomb, IL.

He is survived by his wife Brixton of Roseville, IL; children Kellen and Kowen Hunter both of Roseville, IL; parents Corey and Mary Hunter of Monmouth, IL; siblings Mariah, Martel, Makaya, Takara, Meyah, and Corey Hunter.

He was preceded by maternal grandparents (Mary & Joseph Smith) and paternal grandparents (Joann & Carthell Hunter).

Markus was born and raised in Monmouth, IL.  He graduated from Monmouth-Roseville High School.  Markus enjoyed playing basketball and played for Carl Sandburg College.  He was a former member of Pete’s Gym Monmouth, IL and a member of All Time Fitness in Monmouth, IL where he trained in weight lifting.  Markus loved the Lord.   He enjoyed being with his family and loved his wife and children.

Funeral service will be Monday, October 1, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at the Crossing Monmouth, IL.  Visitation will be Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Crossing Monmouth, IL.   Memorials may be made to the Markus Hunter Memorial Fund.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville is in charge of the arrangements.
