Mary Ann Siltman 90, passed from this life and went to her heavenly Home on Friday January 22, 2021 at the Roseville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.  She was born on January 25, 1930 in Chandlerville, Illinois to Clifford J. And Matilda Ann Williams Cook.  She grew up in Chandlerville and graduated from Chandlerville High School.   She attended Western Illinois University and received her teaching certificate.   She married Edward August Siltman on December 25, 1948 and he preceded her in death August 2003.  Edward and Mary Ann lived in Yorkville IL as he began his teaching career then moved to Havana IL until 1964.  They then moved to Chadwick Illinois and then to Roseville in 1968.

Mary Ann began teaching in a one room country school near Bath, Il and has continued lifelong friendships with some of those students.  She was a teacher and substitute teacher for many years in Havana and Chadwick.  After moving to Roseville, she worked at Warren Achievement School in Monmouth, Il.  She then became the Activity Director at the LaMoine Christian Nursing Home where she served for 20 years until her Retirement.  She was a devout member of the Roseville Christian Church where she served for many years on the missions committee and many other areas of Service.

She is survived by three children: Amy (Michael) Griswold of Berwick, Il; Angela (Kim) Mallette of Watauga, Texas; and COL (Ret) Frank (Loretta) Siltman of Lawton, OK.  Also surviving are grandchildren; Dianne (William) Edley of Peoria Il, Clark Edward Griswold of San Diego, CA; Amanda (Paul) Aslin, Caleb (Sandra) Mallette, and Gracie (Nkere) Reed all of  Ft. Worth Texas; Elizabeth (Michael) Patton of Topeka, KS, Jonathan (Chelsey) Siltman of New Orleans, LA; and Aaron Siltman of Lawton OK. Also surviving are great grandchildren; Liam Ethan, Cedric and Henry Edley, Alexander, Lance and Jack Griswold, Avery Griswold, Gracie Claire, Sydney and Molly Aslin, Sam and Cassidy Mallette, Andre and Tyson Reed, Madeleine, Joshua, Caleb and Olivia Patton, and Thomas and Nathaniel Siltman.  Surviving In-Laws Waldron and Patricia Siltman and Marjorie Cook; also survived by Susan Griswold.  She is also survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward, six brothers and two sisters.

A Private Family Funeral will be held Saturday morning.  A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 pm in Chandlerville Cemetery in Chandlerville IL on Saturday January 30, 2021.  Memorials may be made to Roseville Christian Church mission fund; RRHC Activity department or Hospice Compassus.  The family would like to thank the staff at RRHC and Hospice Compassus for their loving care of Mary Ann during the last months.  Visitation will be held Friday January 29, 2012 at Wise Family Funeral Home in Roseville from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm family will not be present.  Online condolences may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com .  Wise Family Funeral home in Roseville is in charge of arrangements.
