Michael Courtney Miller

Michael Courtney Miller, 48, of Galesburg, Illinois, passed away at 12:25 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. He was born December 29, 1975 in Aledo, the son of Michael and Rena (VanTrump) Miller.

Courtney married Sheri Hale in 2001 and they later divorced in 2012.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Dylan, Colby, Michael and Crishna Miller; granddaughter Iris Jane Miller; grandson, Richard Lee Miller; siblings, Brandy and Ryan Miller; aunt, Raye Beasley; uncle, Jeff Miller. Several nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Carrie Miller.

Courtney had a knack for working on cars and enjoyed drivingthem in the demolition derbies. He liked cooking out and boating/fishing on the river. He was a loving father who would light up any room and could always make you laugh. He was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
