Michael "Mike" J. Wiernasz

Michael J. “Mike” Wiernasz, 75, of St. Pete Beach Florida passed away Thursday June 22, 2017, peacefully at home in the comfort loving care of his wife after a long battle with heart disease. He was born in Middletown, CT, on January 12, 1942 to the late Joseph J. Wernasz and the late Anna S. Mickucki. He married Judith McKelvie on June 24, 1966.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Judy of 51 years, of St. Beach, FL; two daughters Catherine J. (Jay Sirois) Wiernasz, Elizabeth A. (Michael) New; two sisters, Joan A. (Irving) Clark, and Delores G. (Glenn Lacey) Wiernasz; 4 grandchildren Matthew Sirois, Zachary Sirois, Andrew Lunz, and Annabel Lunz.
Michael graduated from St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore, MD, University of Connecticut and Columbia University in NYC.
