Mildred Irene Marinich

Mildred Irene Marinich, 99, of London Mills, IL, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019, 8:57 a.m. at Farmington Country Manor, Farmington, IL.  She was born Tuesday, March 30, 1920, in Trivoli, IL, the daughter of Frank Oren and Etta M. (Bunger) Keel.  She married Paul Ralph Marinich on May 20, 1944 in Canton, IL; he preceded her in death on December 21, 2004.

Mildred is survived by her children, Nick (Adrienne) Marinich, Antonette Marinich, Philip (Colleen) Marinich, and Rachel (Richard) Zepp; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty and Lorainne and brother Fran Oren Jr. (Bud).

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 60 years Paul Marinich, and sisters Rosalie and Evelyn.

Mildred was a teacher.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting and gardening.

Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 27, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at the St. Augustine Catholic Church, St. Augustine, IL.  Visitation will be one-hour prior at the church.   Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery Canton, IL.  Memorials may be made to the St. Augustine Catholic Church Stained Glass Window Fund Sophia Kitchen.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise Family Funeral Home Avon is in charge of the arrangements.
