Norma I Leighty

Norma I. Leighty 91, of Roseville, IL passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Roseville Rehab and Nursing Home Roseville, IL.  She was born Monday, January 31, 1927 in Sciota, IL the daughter of Ambrose Newton and Dora Vianna (James) Bagley.  She married Donald Leighty on October 17, 1943, he preceded her on December 6, 2005.

Those left to cherish her memory are children Larry (Judy) Leighty of Monmouth, IL and Carolyn Kay (Jack) Vest of Galesburg, IL; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; one brother Floyd Bagley of Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 6 sisters, and 3 brothers.

Norma enjoyed to cook, camp and play cards.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, March 14, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at the Roseville Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville, IL.  Memorials may be made to the Roseville Ambulance Service.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville is in charge of the arrangements.
