Ocie D. Baldwin

Ocie D. Baldwin, 83, of Roseville, IL passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, 3:17 a.m. at his home.  He was born Tuesday, January 29, 1935 in Athens, AL. the son of George Thomas and Laura Lucille (Hall) Baldwin.  He married Helen May Waller on March 5, 1958 in Tuka, MS.

He is survived by his wife Helen M. Baldwin; daughters: Vickie Baldwin-Wright and Robin E. Baldwin; son: Riley E. Baldwin; 5 grandchildren: Brandon, Zackary, Xavier, Lacressa, and Ladainian; 5 great grandchildren; sister Georgia Estelene Gordon and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 6 sisters, 2 brothers, 3 stepsisters, and 1 stepbrother.

Ocie was born and educated in Athens, AL. He served in the U.S. Army from 955-1958.  He was the Swan Township Road Commissioner for 20 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was also a member of the Swan Creek Fire Department for 25 years.
