Patricia L. Appleby 80, of Monmouth, IL passed away Monday May 4, 2015, 3:25 am at the Monmouth Nursing Home Monmouth, IL. She was born June 20, 1934 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth Brownawell Appleby.
She is survived by several cousins, including Edward (Lois) Appleby. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Patricia was raised and educated in Monmouth, graduating from Monmouth High School in 1952. She along with her parents owned and operated the Evergreen Restaurant in Monmouth from 1948-1952. She later worked for Mayrath starting out as part time and later full time for 20 years. She lastly worked for Dr.'s Price and Hall for 25 years.
Cremation has been accorded with a private burial in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. No visitation or calling hours are planned. Online condolences may be left at www.wisefamily-hooverhall.com. Wise Family-Hoover Hall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
