Paul E. Treadway, 68, of North Henderson, died 2:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at his home.

He was born July 19, 1945 at Marietta, Ohio, the son of James Edward and Georgia Marie (Andrews) Treadway. He was raised and educated in Ohio and Galesburg.

Paul served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War for 1967 to 1969.

He married Sandra JoAnn Jones on April 16, 2001 at North Henderson, Illinois and she survives.

He was a truck driver. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, the outdoors, farming and loved animals. He also loved to draw and to build benches.

His family includes his wife, Sandra, four step-children, Eric (Michelle) Jones of New Windsor, IL, Tryna (Stan) George of Tennessee, Marya Bailey of Chicago and Clint Jones of Missouri, two sisters, Mary McGuire and Ruth Tate both of Galesburg, one brother, Clinton Treadway of Texas, along with nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-son, Aaron Jones, step grandson, Johnathan Kelso, one brother, Jerry Treadway and three sisters, Billie McGee, Pat Heflin and Sheril.

Graveside services with military honors provided by the James Harvey Scott American Legion Post 189 will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 13, 2013 will be in Norwood Cemetery. There are no visitation or calling hours planned. A memorial fund has been established to be designated later. Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Alexis is in charge of arrangements.
