Paula J. Riden, 64 of Avon, IL passed away Sunday December 28, 2014, 9:36 pm at her home. She was born August 3, 1950 at Saunders Hospital in Avon, IL the daughter of Paul and Barbara Oyler Bernhart. She married James L. Riden in Monmouth, IL on December 20, 1976. She is survived by her husband of Avon, IL; her mother Barbara Bernhart; two brothers Steve Bernhart (David ) and Ronnie (Kathy) Beckner; two daughters Julie Lundeen and Jamie Riden; two step daughters Janice Bridgewater and Cindy Ford; one stepson Donnie Riden; 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, many step grandchildren, 2 nephews, 1 niece, many cousins, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father (Paul Bernhart) and 2 sisters (Anita, Gayle Lynn). She enjoyed flowers, fishing, sewing, cooking, and camping. Funeral service will be Friday January 2, 2015, 11:00 am at the Bushnell Christian Church in Bushnell, IL. Visitation one hour prior to service. . Paula requested that casual attire be worn. Memorials may be made to the Avon Fire Department and OSF Hospice of Galesburg, IL. Online condolences may be left at www.hooverhall.com.
