Pauline E. Dehle, 86, of Alexis, IL. passed away Wednesday May 10, 2017 at OSF St. Frances Medical Center Peoria, IL. She was born July 24, 1930 Crabtown, IA, the daughter of Ralph and Beryl (Starr) Pleasant. She married George W. Dehle on October 16, 1948, he preceded her in death on April 12, 1988.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children Sandra (and the late Paul) Treadway of North Henderson, IL, Kitty (Mike) Feik of Dyersburg, TN, Deborah Dehle of Arcadia, LA, Patty (Dean) Havill of LeClaire, IA, Sherry (Steve) Bishop of Oneida, IL and Teresa (Matt) Williamson of Galesburg, IL, Randy Dehle, Guy Dehle, and Brad (Bambi) Dehle all of Alexis, IL, Mark (Shirley( Dehle of Gerlaw, IL, Penny Dehle of Aledo, IL, and Chris (Ron) Brock of Keithsburg, IL; 28 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers, 1 sister, 1 grandson, and 1 great grandson.
She grew up in Maquoketa. She worked at Woolworths in Davenport, IA. She fullfilled Gods purpose by dedicating her life to her husband, children and family. She never knew a stranger, she had a zest for life, and the most amazing sense of humor. She could outwork anyone.
