Priscilla June Devlin Hartley, 88, of Galesburg, died at 3:35 P.M. Monday January 14, 2013 at Marigold Rehab and Health Care Center, Galesburg.
She was born June 8, 1924 in Venango, NE the daughter of Martin and Freda Seibel Johnson.
She graduated in 1942 from LeClaire High School, LeClaire, IA.
Priscilla married Morgan "Tag" Devlin on January 15, 1944. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1973. She later married George Hartley.
She had worked at Formfit Company in Monmouth. She later worked for Gale Products in Galesburg retiring in 1983.
She was a member of the North Henderson United Methodist Church, Die Hard Cubs Fan Club, and the Auxiliary VFW of Sebring Florida. Priscilla loved watching the Cubs and the Packers, square dancing, and being with her friends and family along with nieces and nephews.
Priscilla's family includes two daughters, Diane (Ron) Brown of North Henderson and Nancy (Alan) Martin of rural Alexis; two sisters, Sharon Clemens of Davenport, IA and Jeanette Kapinski of Pleasant Valley, IA; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son Tommy Joe Devlin, one daughter, Susan Gayle Devlin, one brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at North Henderson United Methodist Church with Rev. Suzanne Geer. A Celebration of Life and visitation will follow services on Thursday from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Alexis Fieldhouse. Cremation will be accorded after the services.
