R. Marie (Rothzen) Livermore

R. Marie Livermore, 92, of Roseville, IL passed away Thursday March 8, 2018, at Seminary Manor Galesburg, IL.  She was born Tuesday December 15, 1925 in Kirkwood, IL the daughter of Knute Einer and Esther Marie (Isaacson) Rothzen.  She married George L. Livermore on December 28, 1948, he preceded her in death on December 15, 1990.

Those left to cherish her memory are one son Greg (Pam) Livermore of Roseville, IL; 5 grandchildren Nicholas (Melissa) Livermore, Nathaniel (Nicole) Livermore, Noah (Katina) Livermore, Douglas Gaehle, Kathryn Gaehle; 7 great grandchildren Ethan, Dominic, Gavin, Gracelyn, Grady, Cody and Paxton; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter (Barbara A. Gaehle), and 1 brother (Glenn Rothzen).

Marie was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Stronghurst, IL.  She retired from the Roseville State Bank where she was a bookkeeper.  She was a wonderful cook and baker, spoiling her family with great food.  She enjoyed traveling, playing (and winning) dominoes, and attending family events.
