Robert W. Hart, 79, of Alexis, died 3:09 P. M. Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Cottage Hospital, Galesburg. He was born November 10, 1934 at Macomb, Illinois, the son of William and Florence (Mosher) Hart. He was raised and educated in the Alexis area, where he graduated from Alexis High School in 1953. Robert farmed in the Alexis area until retiring. He enjoyed attending Alexis sporting events and traveling with his mother. Robert was a member of the Alexis Presbyterian Church. Those left to cherish his memory are one sister, Celia Hart of Aledo and one brother, Richard (Ruth) Hart of North Henderson, along with numerous nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 8, 2014 at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Alexis. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, North Henderson. Friends may call on Monday morning at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel where visitation with his family will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be left for the Alexis Presbyterian Church.
