Roger Leo Singleton, 56, of Anacoco, Louisiana, passed away on December 31, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Singleton, father Kenneth “Poppy” Singleton, and brother Kenny Singleton. He left behind his wife, Lily Singleton, son CJ (Melissa) Singleton, daughter Cassie (Ryan) Steinkamp, granddaughter, Cameron Steinkamp, daughter, Selene (Dalton) Sirk, grandson Wrangler Sirk, stepson Francis Reyes, brother, Danny (Lynn) Singleton, bother Dale (Launa) Singleton, and brother Rodney (Linda) Singleton. Many nieces and nephews.

Roger graduated from Bushnell-Prairie City High School in 1984. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked his whole adult life. In his past work he worked at Colorado State University as an HVAC technician, power plant operator for Eastman Kodak Windsor Colorado, operated R.S. Heating & Cooling, and was a contractor for the United States Government overseas. Roger loved to ride motorcycles, travel, collect firearms with his son and have a good time. Roger knew how to make everyone around him feel special.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Prairie City Cemetery, Prairie City, IL. A celebration of life will follow at the Prairie City Community Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. Wise Family Funeral Home, Avon, is handling the arrangements.
