Valerie Powers, 65 of Avon, IL passed away Saturday July 2, 2016 at her home home. She was born October 6, 1950 in Geneseo, IL the daughter Clarence "Tom" and Martha (Kitchen) Cook.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Lana (Steve) Eaves of Fountain Green, IL; Brother Buddy Cook of Freeport, IL and sister Sandy (Bill) Masser of Macomb, IL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her significant other (Ralph Robinson), 4 sisters (Patty, Margaret, Martha, and Kathy).
She enjoyed racing and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. She liked doing social media and being on the computer and being with family.
