Wesley Skiles

Wesley Skiles, 86, of Roseville, IL passed away Monday May 16, 2016, 1:35 pm at the Roseville Rehab and Healthcare Center Roseville, IL. He was born Sunday December 29, 1929 in Roseville, IL the son of John and Erma (Schisler) Skiles. He married Leona I. Holmes on September 11, 1955, she preceded him on April 21, 2016.
Those left to cherish his memory are one daughter Carol Skiles of Macomb, IL; three sisters Lorraine Painter of Macomb, IL, Marilyn McSperitt of Adair, IL and Karen Brobston of Gerlaw, IL; two brothers Herbert Skiles of Florida, and Bernard Skiles of Lewistown, IL; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 1 son (Andy).
He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for Twomey's for over 30 years. He was an avid reader. He was also a meticulous carpenter and was good to do carpenter work to help family and friends.
